The throttle sensor is a part installed into your cart’s electrical system and is designed to control your speed. It works along with the speed controller and other similar parts to ensure that you get enough power for your cart whenever you run it . To test for resistance, set the DVOM to Ohms scale. Unplug the sensor and connect either leads to the DVOM probes. Read the Ohm or resistance values and compare them to those of the manufacturer. If they don’t match, the sensor is defective . Installation instructions are NOT included . Replaces OEM number: JW2-H5885-00 .
