  1. Locate the existing shock absorbers: The number of shock absorbers will depend on your golf cart’s suspension system. Most golf carts have front and rear shock absorbers. Identify the old shock absorbers you want to replace.
  2. Remove the old shock absorbers:
    • For rear shock absorbers: They are usually attached to the rear axle and the frame of the golf cart. Use a wrench or socket set to remove the bolts securing the shock absorbers. Depending on the model, you might need to remove a cover or panel to access the bolts.
    • For front shock absorbers: They are typically connected to the front axle and the frame. Remove any panels or covers obstructing access to the bolts and use a wrench or socket set to detach the bolts.
  3. Install the new shock absorbers: Position the new shock absorbers in place and hand-tighten the bolts to hold them in position. Make sure they are properly aligned before fully tightening the bolts.
  4. Tighten the bolts: Using the appropriate torque specifications provided in your golf cart’s manual, tighten the bolts securely. Avoid over-tightening as it may damage the components.
  5. Check for proper installation: Double-check all the connections and make sure the new shock absorbers are securely in place. Confirm that there is no interference with other parts of the golf cart.
